Jared Leto took home The Actor for Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Supporting Role for his role as Rayon in Dallas Buyers Club. While many fans know Leto from the band Thirty Seconds to Mars, his first real break into show business came when he was cast on My So-Called Life playing the love interest of fellow Actor recipient Claire Danes.
The cast from Breaking Bad, which includes Bryan Cranston, Aaron Paul, Anna Gun, R.J. Mitte, Betsy Brandt, Bob Odenkirk and Dean Norris received The Actor for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series. In a touching acceptance speech, Cranston, a three-time SAG Award recipient, thanked the entire cast and kindly joked, "I swear to you, I would kill you all over again."
Making her film debut, Lupita Nyong'o took home The Actor for Outstanding Performance by a Female in a Supporting Role for her portrayal of "Patsy" in 12 Years a Slave. Beyond being a Yale School of Drama graduate, Nyong'o, who was born in Mexico and raised in Kenya, speaks four languages and is one of six children.
